The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaffer Al Jalahma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Qutada Al Rifaee charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Qutada Al Rifaee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Derar Al Hadhod kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Qutada Al Rifaee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jaffer Al Jalahma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Folkestone defense, Qutada Al Rifaee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaffer Al Jalahma. The Folkestone fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaffer Al Jalahma should have stopped the shot. Esam Al Qatam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Doaej Al Sherazi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esam Al Qatam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdul Mohsen Al Kandere hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Qutada Al Rifaee struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jaffer Al Jalahma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harpenden City. Nawaf Al Khars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Doaej Al Sherazi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nawaf Al Khars in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Nayef Bahbhani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harpenden City and the Folkestone players grew even worse after the yellow card. 58 minutes into the game, Bassam Al Gareb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harpenden City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Folkestone the free kick. After a rather tough play, Harpenden City's Bassam Al Gareb got a free kick in the 58th minute. Esam Al Qatam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doaej Al Sherazi having to interfere. Nawaf Al Khars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doaej Al Sherazi having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Qutada Al Rifaee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute Nawaf Al Khars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doaej Al Sherazi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doaej Al Sherazi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esam Al Qatam in the 79th minute. A collision led to Folkestone getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Abdul Mohsen Al Kandere hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes, Harpenden City's Jarah Al Dosery shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaffer Al Jalahma came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Harpenden City reached it. If Esam Al Qatam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Qutada Al Rifaee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaffer Al Jalahma having to interfere.
