The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match Qutaiba Al Dekhel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ghaith Al Hadhod showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 8 minutes, Qais Al Zamel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Archway City and the Scawsby United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Shabeb Al Qattamy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdan Kakoli having to interfere. Raed Al Hashash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hamdan Kakoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khaled Al Bana during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Khaled Al Bana kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Qais Al Zamel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Archway City's Hamdan Kakoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bandar Khorshed in the 24th minute of play. Shabeb Al Qattamy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Talib Al Sayer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Archway City's supporters rose to their feet, but Talib Al Sayer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ghaith Al Hadhod breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Archway City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Shabeb Al Qattamy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamdan Kakoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. When Saed Shalan came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Archway City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saed Shalan couldn't finish the play. Ghaith Al Hadhod showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talib Al Sayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ghaith Al Hadhod took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talib Al Sayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Raed Al Hashash made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Raed Al Hashash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdan Kakoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamdan Kakoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shabeb Al Qattamy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Archway City's Ghaith Al Hadhod threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saed Shalan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute, Scawsby United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Saed Shalan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Raed Al Hashash might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamdan Kakoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raed Al Hashash ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute, Raed Al Hashash ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamdan Kakoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Saed Shalan succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Archway City's zone, Raed Al Hashash stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamdan Kakoli came out of the goal and Raed Al Hashash tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamdan Kakoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shabeb Al Qattamy in the 85th minute of the match. Saed Shalan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Archway City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 98th minute of the match Omar Al Ammar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamdan Kakoli skillfully saved the ball. Scawsby United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
