The referee showed Omar Shrean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Stone's Bahaa Ghadhanfer got a free kick in the 8th minute. Sayer Al Rifaee, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stone's goalkeeper Abdul Mohsen Al Gareb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sayer Al Zamel made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Mostafa Al Khars sent off a good shot on target. When Nawaf Al Hajraf fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charlbury FC's protests and gave Nawaf Al Hajraf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Nawaf Al Hajraf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarhan Al Sherazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mostafa Al Khars took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sayer Al Zamel. Sayer Al Zamel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Stone's goal looked a bit too open when Nawaf Al Hajraf came free, but Abdul Mohsen Al Gareb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Charlbury FC's Nawaf Al Hajraf in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stone's goalie prevented a goal. If Mostafa Al Abdullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sayer Al Rifaee's late challenge caught a Stone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sayer Al Rifaee helped the player get up and apologised. Sayer Al Zamel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sarhan Al Sherazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nawaf Al Hajraf to make the kick off. Sayer Al Zamel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sarhan Al Sherazi in the 53rd minute of the match. If Mostafa Al Abdullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 58th minute of the match Sayer Al Rifaee completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sayer Al Rifaee a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Sarhan Al Sherazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anas Al Bloshi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Charlbury FC's Dhari Ghadhanfer tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basem Al Dowaisan got free with Abdul Mohsen Al Gareb in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bahaa Ghadhanfer's late challenge caught a Charlbury FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bahaa Ghadhanfer helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Stone got a freekick which was hit by Bahaa Ghadhanfer. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mostafa Al Abdullah got free with Abdul Mohsen Al Gareb in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Dhari Ghadhanfer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charlbury FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stone the free kick. Dhari Ghadhanfer kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Stone's Abdul Mohsen Al Gareb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Stone from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Basem Al Dowaisan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charlbury FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Charlbury FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
