The shot was stopped by Seraj Al Khobaize but with some difficulty. 13 minutes into the game, Nawaf Al Amer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Saed Shadad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Seraj Al Khobaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ebrahem Al Khobaize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nawaf Al Amer struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Saed Shadad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stratton United. When Nawaf Al Amer came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Stratton United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nawaf Al Amer couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Stratton United's goal looked a bit too open when Ebrahem Al Khobaize came free, but Seraj Al Khobaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ebrahem Al Khobaize struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Seraj Al Khobaize didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brompton City. If Ayman Al Saffar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nawaf Al Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stratton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Nawaf Al Amer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saed Shadad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nawaf Al Amer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Stratton United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ebrahem Al Khobaize was the one to do the kick off. Bandar Al Bana lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 61st minute, one of Stratton United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stratton United. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Brompton City. Mohammad Al Gareb stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Seraj Al Khobaize. 1-2. Ayman Al Saffar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ebrahem Al Khobaize struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute.
