Aws Al Jarah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yousef Al Sayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Melton Mowbray United booed when Prestwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khaled Al Mehana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haider Al Sallal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaled Al Mehana in the 16th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Qutaiba Al Motaire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Yasser Al Shaikh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Yousef Al Sayer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prestwich's Aws Al Jarah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 32 in the game by Yasser Al Shaikh from a close distance when the talented Aws Al Jarah managed to make a qualified save. Prestwich's players were relieved. Yousef Al Sayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aws Al Jarah having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Melton Mowbray United's Yousef Al Sayer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aws Al Jarah. Aws Al Jarah yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 44th match minute, Prestwich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morad Al Hashash to maneuver through the defense. Prestwich's Aws Al Jarah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Prestwich from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Khaled Al Mehana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prestwich's supporters rose to their feet, but Khaled Al Mehana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haider Al Sallal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Melton Mowbray United's Meshari Al Khaled got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Melton Mowbray United's zone, Jarah Al Barrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haider Al Sallal came out of the goal and Jarah Al Barrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khaled Al Mehana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarah Al Barrak got free with Haider Al Sallal in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jarah Al Barrak came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Prestwich fans jumped to their feet.
