Mazen Al Hajri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yousef Al Holey in the 19th minute of the match. Meqdad Al Hashash might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kamal Al Shati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meqdad Al Hashash ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meqdad Al Hashash in the 24th minute of play forced Birmingham Kings Heath City's goalkeeper Kamal Al Shati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Wem booed when Birmingham Kings Heath City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mamdouh Al Jarah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yousef Al Holey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazen Al Hajri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Mazen Al Hajri was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Yousef Al Holey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yousef Al Holey really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mazen Al Hajri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aqel Al Khobaize, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Aqel Al Khobaize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mazen Al Hajri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamal Al Shati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Meqdad Al Hashash went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Meqdad Al Hashash made a precise shot to the right of Kamal Al Shati. Birmingham Kings Heath City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wem's goalkeeper Mazen Al Hajri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aqel Al Khobaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazen Al Hajri having to interfere. Wem's Mazen Al Hajri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yousef Al Holey in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Meqdad Al Hashash managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meqdad Al Hashash was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Wem's Taqi Al Youha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamal Al Shati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fayez Al Mehana might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kamal Al Shati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fayez Al Mehana ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Aqel Al Khobaize got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Wem's goal looked a bit too open when Yousef Al Holey came free, but Mazen Al Hajri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
