Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Raed Al Ammar made the kick off and thus started the match. Aamir Al Nasser kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Folkestone United's zone, Nasser Boland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mortada Al Mansor came out of the goal and Nasser Boland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salam Al Besher struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Mortada Al Mansor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reading AFC. Salam Al Besher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reading AFC's Yasser Dehrab got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shaheen Shalan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd match minute, Reading AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salam Al Besher to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Reading AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Haider Al Jalahma came free, but Rashed Bahbhani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shaheen Shalan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rashed Bahbhani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reading AFC's Rashed Bahbhani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaheen Shalan in the 33rd minute of play. Rashed Bahbhani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haider Al Jalahma in the 38th minute of play. Rashed Bahbhani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaheen Shalan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shaheen Shalan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eshaq Shalan fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reading AFC's protests and gave Eshaq Shalan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Reading AFC's Eshaq Shalan got a free kick in the 51st minute. Mortada Al Mansor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raed Al Ammar in the 60th minute of the match. Nasser Boland charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nasser Boland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rashed Bahbhani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shaheen Shalan went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Haider Al Jalahma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Rashed Bahbhani made a huge save. In the 84th minute of the match Eshaq Shalan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mortada Al Mansor skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute, Shaheen Shalan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Folkestone United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
