A beautiful save bye Hucknall City's goalie prevented a goal. Farhan Al Fadhalah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ameen Al Motar in the 5th minute of the match. Hucknall City's Yousef Ghadhanfer got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Yousef Ghadhanfer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yaqoub Al Abdullah, 1-0. Ameen Al Motar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Farhan Al Fadhalah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rothwell United's Saif Al Arbash got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match Ayoob Al Bloshi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yaqoub Al Abdullah skillfully saved the ball. Rothwell United's Yaqoub Al Abdullah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yousef Ghadhanfer in the 34th minute of play. Saif Al Arbash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Saif Al Arbash fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rothwell United's protests and gave Saif Al Arbash a yellow card for diving instead. Saif Al Arbash hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hucknall City booed when Rothwell United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morjan Al Khaled didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saif Al Arbash to strike the kick off in the second half. Ameen Al Motar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Rothwell United's Khalel Al Azmi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Khalel Al Azmi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rothwell United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Khalel Al Azmi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The audience was convinced that Yousef Ghadhanfer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yaqoub Al Abdullah was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Ali Bo Hamad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hussain Al Mosawe hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hucknall City had won after a very even match.
