Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Saif Al Arbash got the match started through his kick off. If Kamal Al Azmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute Ameen Al Motar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mosalam Al Ammar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kamal Al Azmi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yaqoub Al Abdullah was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 14thth minute of the game Saif Al Arbash who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stokesley United's Mosalam Al Ammar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Stokesley United booed when Rothwell United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdul Mohsen Al Sayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Rothwell United getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Abdul Mohsen Al Sayer hit a great ball. Fayez Al Ali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yaqoub Al Abdullah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saif Al Arbash in the 28th minute of play forced Stokesley United's goalkeeper Mosalam Al Ammar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lafi Bo Qamaz fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stokesley United's protests and gave Lafi Bo Qamaz a yellow card for diving instead. Lafi Bo Qamaz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stokesley United's zone, Saif Al Arbash stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mosalam Al Ammar came out of the goal and Saif Al Arbash tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saif Al Arbash fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mosalam Al Ammar having to interfere. Mosalam Al Ammar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saif Al Arbash, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Stokesley United's goalkeeper Mosalam Al Ammar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Abdul Mohsen Al Sayer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rothwell United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stokesley United the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Abdul Mohsen Al Sayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kamal Al Azmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kamal Al Azmi came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Stokesley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamal Al Azmi couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamal Al Azmi was the one to do the kick off. Yaqoub Al Abdullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamal Al Azmi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fayez Al Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Hussain Al Mosawe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rothwell United's Yaqoub Al Abdullah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamal Al Azmi in the 70th minute of play. If Fayez Al Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Lafi Bo Qamaz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. During the 73rd minute of the match Hussain Al Mosawe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hussain Al Mosawe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 75th minute, Fayez Al Ali left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stokesley United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 79 minutes into the match, Fayez Al Ali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yaqoub Al Abdullah. Rothwell United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fayez Al Ali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Fayez Al Ali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaqoub Al Abdullah having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Stokesley United's Bassam Al Hammady made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yaqoub Al Abdullah was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ameen Al Motar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdul Mohsen Al Sayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mosalam Al Ammar having to interfere. Ameen Al Motar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mosalam Al Ammar having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ameen Al Motar got free with Mosalam Al Ammar in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ameen Al Motar struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Mosalam Al Ammar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rothwell United. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rothwell United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stokesley United.
