Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ghaith Al Jarah started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ghaith Taiban during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Ghaith Taiban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sutton booed when Halesworth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dhari Al Jalahma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sutton's Ghaith Al Jarah got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes, Halesworth FC's Lafi Al Mulaifi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nader Al Rodhan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Halesworth FC reached it. After 11 played minutes Sutton got a freekick which was hit by Fawaz Al Abdullah. Sutton's Nader Al Rodhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sutton from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute Halesworth FC were awarded a corner. Ghaith Al Shati went to the cornerflag to take it. Omar Bo Abbas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doaej Jiragh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doaej Jiragh's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Nader Al Rodhan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 32nd minute, Doaej Jiragh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Halesworth FC's Kamal Bo Qamaz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 48th minute, Ghaith Al Jarah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sutton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Sutton were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamal Bo Qamaz was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Doaej Jiragh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nader Al Rodhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Doaej Jiragh came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Halesworth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doaej Jiragh couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamal Bo Qamaz in the 69th minute of play forced Sutton's goalkeeper Nader Al Rodhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton's zone, Doaej Jiragh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nader Al Rodhan came out of the goal and Doaej Jiragh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fakher Al Arbash made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Bo Abbas in the 81st minute. In the 82nd match minute, Halesworth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhari Al Jalahma to maneuver through the defense. If Omar Bo Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doaej Jiragh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nader Al Rodhan having to interfere. If Doaej Jiragh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
