Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Faisal Al Dowaisan made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Kamal Bo Qamaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halesworth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamal Bo Qamaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Halesworth FC's zone, Faisal Al Dowaisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fakher Al Arbash came out of the goal and Faisal Al Dowaisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mirfield's Bashar Al Mofede got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edrees Al Hajraf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamal Bo Qamaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Bashar Al Mofede managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mirfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Bashar Al Mofede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fakher Al Arbash breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute of the match Fadhel Taqi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fakher Al Arbash showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Doaej Jiragh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Edrees Al Hajraf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the match Ghaith Al Shati sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edrees Al Hajraf skillfully saved the ball. After 44 played minutes Halesworth FC got a freekick which was hit by Najim Al Sharaf. Faisal Al Dowaisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fakher Al Arbash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Kamal Bo Qamaz made the kick off in the second half. If Kamal Bo Qamaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doaej Jiragh was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mirfield's Edrees Al Hajraf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamal Bo Qamaz in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Mirfield booed when Halesworth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dhari Al Jalahma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faisal Al Dowaisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fakher Al Arbash having to interfere. In the 72nd minute of the match Mirfield got a corner. Halesworth FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jarah Shamsah ran over to the corner to take the kick. Najim Al Sharaf tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Fakher Al Arbash. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bashar Al Mofede in the 75th minute of play forced Halesworth FC's goalkeeper Fakher Al Arbash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mirfield's Edrees Al Hajraf got control of the ball when Doaej Jiragh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bashar Al Mofede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faisal Al Dowaisan in the 86th minute of play forced Halesworth FC's goalkeeper Fakher Al Arbash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kamal Bo Qamaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Edrees Al Hajraf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gibrel Al Hajri during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Mirfield got a freekick which was hit by Gibrel Al Hajri. Doaej Jiragh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mirfield fans cheered their team off the field, for while Halesworth FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
