After 5 minutes, Shaker Al Khars mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hurworth and the Cressage players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cressage booed when Hurworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaker Al Khars didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Cressage fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Cressage's Ghaith Al Attar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Hamdan Al Balool fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hurworth's protests and gave Hamdan Al Balool a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Hurworth got a freekick which was hit by Hamdan Al Balool. After 18 minutes of play Hurworth's Hamdan Al Balool was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Hurworth getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Hamdan Al Balool hit a great ball. If Ghaith Al Attar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hurworth booed when Cressage was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riad Al Qattamy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hurworth's Saif Al Youha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Majed Al Banwan in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Riad Al Qattamy during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
