After the first half Clanfield City were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 minutes, Manaf Al Hajri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blyth City and the Clanfield City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Clanfield City booed when Blyth City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manaf Al Hajri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Mostafa Sarkhoh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blyth City's supporters rose to their feet, but Mostafa Sarkhoh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aesem Sarkhoh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Blyth City's goal looked a bit too open when Meshal Al Abdullah came free, but Bandar Al Abdullah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
