The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wasel Kamal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wasel Kamal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sror Al Holey, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bashar Hayat in the 16th minute of play forced Stanmore's goalkeeper Mazen Al Mahmed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Khalel Al Habshi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayoob Dashti struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Wasel Kamal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stanmore. In the 19th match minute, Penzance AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doaej Al Balool to maneuver through the defense. Wasel Kamal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saed Al Arbash in the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Stanmore got a freekick which was hit by Ayoob Dashti. Khalel Al Habshi struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Mazen Al Mahmed stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bashar Hayat's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Wasel Kamal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saed Al Arbash, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sror Al Holey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasel Kamal having to interfere. Tariq Al Mehana's late challenge caught a Stanmore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tariq Al Mehana helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stanmore booed when Penzance AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tariq Al Mehana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayoob Dashti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wasel Kamal. Penzance AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Saed Al Arbash came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Stanmore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saed Al Arbash couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Penzance AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tariq Al Mehana hit a great ball. Bashar Hayat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saed Al Arbash to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Saed Al Arbash managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stanmore's supporters rose to their feet, but Saed Al Arbash was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wasel Kamal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Stanmore's goal looked a bit too open when Bashar Hayat came free, but Mazen Al Mahmed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fawaz Al Matrok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Manaf Kakoli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penzance AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stanmore the free kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Khalel Al Habshi put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Penzance AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stanmore:s goal. Sror Al Holey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasel Kamal having to interfere. Sror Al Holey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Wasel Kamal made a huge save.
