In the 8th minute Doaej Al Ghanem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waheed Kakoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Tynemouth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Doaej Al Ghanem came free, but Waheed Kakoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Tynemouth AFC's Yousef Abol made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ayman Al Baghli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chalfont's Ayman Al Baghli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yousef Abol in the 20th minute of play. Morjan Al Jarah charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morjan Al Jarah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tynemouth AFC booed when Chalfont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morjan Al Jarah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abbas Al Bahar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayman Al Baghli having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waleed Bo Resley in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ayman Al Baghli saved Chalfont from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Yousef Abol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yousef Abol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Chalfont getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sharf Abo Al Hasan hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abbas Al Bahar to make the kick off. Waheed Kakoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morjan Al Jarah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Omar Al Wazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Meqdad Al Rifaee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Abbas Al Bahar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayman Al Baghli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abbas Al Bahar struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ayman Al Baghli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tynemouth AFC. 65 minutes into the game, Riad Al Mulaifi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tynemouth AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chalfont the free kick. Riad Al Mulaifi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Yousef Abol could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Ayman Al Baghli however easily saved by the left post. Meqdad Al Rifaee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes, Esmael Ghadhanfer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tynemouth AFC and the Chalfont players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tynemouth AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Esmael Ghadhanfer hit a great ball. Riad Al Mulaifi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Morjan Al Jarah got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ayman Al Baghli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esmael Ghadhanfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute.
