Ali Al Besher was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saif Al Asuosi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 11th minute Talib Boland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mubarek Al Saleh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mubarek Al Saleh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fayez Al Muwail in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Crookes FC's goalkeeper Mubarek Al Saleh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Jalal Al Mosawe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Al Besher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mubarek Al Saleh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talib Boland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crookes FC's Jalal Al Mosawe got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bassam Al Nasser during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Kettering United got a freekick which was hit by Bassam Al Nasser. Salah Bahbhani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fayez Al Muwail made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jalal Al Mosawe in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Al Besher saved Kettering United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jalal Al Mosawe in the 57th minute of play forced Kettering United's goalkeeper Ali Al Besher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crookes FC's goalkeeper Mubarek Al Saleh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ameer Al Srae kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Jalal Al Mosawe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Al Besher having to interfere. A collision led to Kettering United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Seraj Shabakhoh hit a great ball. Crookes FC's Salah Bahbhani got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aadil Al Baghli hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 89th minute, when Kettering United's Sadeq Al Amer after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Mubarek Al Saleh in Crookes FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 93 minutes into the match, Kettering United's Fayez Al Muwail sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mubarek Al Saleh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Crookes FC booed when Kettering United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sadeq Al Amer didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Crookes FC's Fakher Al Mofede in action when he in the 98th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Kettering United's Bassam Al Nasser got a free kick in the 101st minute. Seraj Shabakhoh charged in rather forcefully in the 103rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seraj Shabakhoh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Crookes FC booed when Kettering United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 103 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seraj Shabakhoh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fakher Al Mofede, 104 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
