Qais Al Barrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Barakat Bo Hamad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glastonbury's Khalaf Dashti got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Qais Al Barrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Barakat Bo Hamad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Glastonbury's Khalaf Dashti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barakat Bo Hamad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manaf Taqi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sobah Al Khames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Naem Kamal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Faris Al Khars cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Manaf Taqi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sobah Al Khames stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Grove FC's Sobah Al Khames dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalaf Dashti in the 68th minute of play forced Grove FC's goalkeeper Barakat Bo Hamad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faris Al Khars kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Moner Bo Hamad kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Khalaf Dashti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barakat Bo Hamad was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Naem Kamal came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Grove FC fans jumped to their feet. The referee ordered Zahid Al Baghli off the ground. After a rather tough play, Glastonbury's Luai Al Sallal got a free kick in the 88th minute. Nawaf Al Harban was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Naem Kamal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grove FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Naem Kamal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manaf Taqi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 95 minutes, Sobah Al Khames managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grove FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sobah Al Khames was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Naem Kamal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grove FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
