Farooq Al Hadhod hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ramadan Bo Resley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sultan Shalan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saher Shadad in the 11th minute of play forced Cove's goalkeeper Sultan Shalan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Ayoob Al Ajmi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Countesthorpe the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Cove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayoob Al Ajmi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Saher Shadad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sultan Shalan was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. If Saher Shadad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Countesthorpe's Saher Shadad dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Saher Shadad took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sultan Shalan to make any attempt to save it. Ramadan Bo Resley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saher Shadad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sultan Shalan having to interfere. Sultan Shalan made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ramadan Bo Resley sent off a good shot on target. Cove's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Saher Shadad 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fawaz Dehrab to make the kick off. When Countesthorpe's Saher Shadad in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cove's goalie prevented a goal. When Ameer Al Mothaf fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Countesthorpe's protests and gave Ameer Al Mothaf a yellow card for diving instead. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Ameer Al Mothaf notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Cove's Sultan Shalan. Sultan Shalan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fawaz Dehrab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Maitham Al Srae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 99 minutes into the match, Cove's goal looked a bit too open when Saher Shadad came free, but Sultan Shalan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
