Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mosab Al Qattamy kicked off to start the match. Swinton's Sultan Al Shati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zahid Al Mothaf in the 8th minute of play. Seraj Al Wazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sultan Al Shati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naem Al Dowaisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mosab Al Qattamy in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Zahid Al Mothaf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selsey FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zahid Al Mothaf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Selsey FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mosab Al Qattamy came free, but Naem Al Dowaisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zahid Al Mothaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sultan Al Shati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seraj Al Wazan in the 40th minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Adnan Al Sayer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swinton and the Selsey FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Selsey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramadan Al Jarah to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Selsey FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Swinton:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seraj Al Wazan in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sultan Al Shati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Adnan Al Sayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naem Al Dowaisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mosab Al Qattamy in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naem Al Dowaisan saved Selsey FC from getting behind. Naem Al Dowaisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Al Sayer in the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Adnan Al Sayer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swinton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adnan Al Sayer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adnan Al Sayer in the 86th minute of play forced Selsey FC's goalkeeper Naem Al Dowaisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Selsey FC got a freekick which was hit by Wasel Al Ghanem. Naem Al Dowaisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adnan Al Sayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Swinton fans cheered their team off the field, for while Selsey FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
