Norbury AFC's Mosaed Al Baghli got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nizar Jiragh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mosaed Al Baghli in the 7th minute of play. After 10 played minutes, Norbury AFC's Qutaiba Al Besher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nizar Jiragh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Norbury AFC reached it. Fakher Al Rodhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fawaz Al Attar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faraj Taqi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mansour Khorshed hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Norbury AFC's Salim Bo Qamaz in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Norbury AFC booed when Warwick AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mansour Khorshed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faraj Taqi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Faraj Taqi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fawaz Al Attar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Fawaz Al Attar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fakher Al Rodhan in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes, Mosalam Shabakhoh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norbury AFC and the Warwick AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 89th minute, Fakher Al Rodhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Faraj Taqi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fawaz Al Attar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fawaz Al Attar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faraj Taqi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th match minute, Norbury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mosalam Shabakhoh to maneuver through the defense. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Norbury AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
