Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marzoq Al Khars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mostafa Al Balool in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Lindfield United's Bassam Al Habshi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maitham Boften narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Jassem Al Najdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nizar Al Banwan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maitham Boften read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Jalal Al Hindi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marzoq Al Khars having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bassam Al Habshi in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maitham Boften saved Dalton In Furness AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Lindfield United getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maitham Baroun hit a great ball. Jalal Al Hindi struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Marzoq Al Khars didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalton In Furness AFC. Jalal Al Hindi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Marzoq Al Khars tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Nizar Al Banwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maitham Boften saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Esmael Al Ali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nizar Al Banwan was the one to do the kick off. Jalal Al Hindi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marzoq Al Khars having to interfere. Dalton In Furness AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Bassam Al Habshi scored to the left of an out of position Maitham Boften, making the score, 0-2. With a little luck, Dalton In Furness AFC's Maitham Boften got control of the ball when Bassam Al Habshi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66 played minutes, Dalton In Furness AFC's Hamed Al Homaithe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marzoq Al Khars came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dalton In Furness AFC reached it. If Nizar Al Banwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jalal Al Hindi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maitham Boften stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nizar Al Banwan's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mostafa Al Balool in the 88th minute of play forced Lindfield United's goalkeeper Marzoq Al Khars to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Bassam Al Habshi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dalton In Furness AFC's Maitham Boften was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
