The supporters of Bishop Stortford booed when Thurmaston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tariq Baroun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aesem Jiragh was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Salem Al Motar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zaher Al Sallal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salem Al Motar, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Manaf Al Hadad charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manaf Al Hadad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thurmaston's Manaf Al Hadad got his second yellow card of the match in the 10th minute. The referee ordered Manaf Al Hadad off the ground. After a rather tough play, Thurmaston's Manaf Al Hadad got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Saher Al Rifaee came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bishop Stortford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saher Al Rifaee couldn't finish the play. In the last second Zaher Al Sallal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Salem Al Motar in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ramadan Al Bloshi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ramadan Al Bloshi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Saher Al Rifaee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zaher Al Sallal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramadan Al Bloshi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelnaser Khaja having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Bishop Stortford got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Al Ansari. It was beautiful to see Thurmaston's Nemir Shams in action when he in the 37th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Saher Al Rifaee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salem Al Motar to strike the kick off in the second half. Thurmaston's Zaher Al Sallal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saher Al Rifaee in the 52nd minute of play. Bandar Al Hadad struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Abdelnaser Khaja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thurmaston. A collision led to Bishop Stortford getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Salem Al Motar hit a great ball. Thurmaston's Zaher Al Sallal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saher Al Rifaee in the 64th minute of play. If Saher Al Rifaee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Salem Al Motar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Salem Al Motar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bishop Stortford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Salem Al Motar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaher Al Sallal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salem Al Motar in the 88th minute of play. Saher Al Rifaee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zaher Al Sallal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bishop Stortford's zone, Bandar Al Hadad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelnaser Khaja came out of the goal and Bandar Al Hadad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bishop Stortford's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
