Hamzah Al Hashash's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aadil Al Qattan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mosa Al Hajraf during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mosa Al Hajraf kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Newport got a freekick which was hit by Mosa Al Hajraf. Zaher Al Shati succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. In the 25th match minute, Brixton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nabel Al Saleh to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes, Newport's Ayoob Jiragh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aadil Al Qattan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newport reached it. A collision led to Newport getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sultan Al Sharah hit a great ball. If Zaher Al Shati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sultan Al Sharah hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Newport's goal looked a bit too open when Yaqoot Al Naqi came free, but Ayman Al Dekhel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamzah Al Hashash might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aadil Al Qattan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamzah Al Hashash ran back to his position shaking his head. After 42 minutes, Adham Al Gareb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newport and the Brixton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adham Al Gareb hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Yaqoot Al Naqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Brixton's Yaqoot Al Naqi in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newport's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yaqoot Al Naqi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yaqoot Al Naqi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayman Al Dekhel having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Eshaq Shams mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brixton and the Newport players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brixton's Yaqoot Al Naqi got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamzah Al Hashash was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Newport's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 75 minutes into the match, Brixton's goalkeeper Aadil Al Qattan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamzah Al Hashash. Aadil Al Qattan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamzah Al Hashash in the 78th minute. A collision led to Brixton getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nabel Al Saleh hit a great ball. Hamzah Al Hashash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aadil Al Qattan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamzah Al Hashash recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes, Sultan Al Sharah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newport and the Brixton players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Newport getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Sultan Al Sharah hit a great ball. Ayman Al Dekhel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaher Al Shati went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Yaqoot Al Naqi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brixton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brixton fans cheered their team off the field, for while Newport had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
