Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emad Dehrab took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Esam Al Ammar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Awwad Al Najdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Birmingham Selly Oak got a freekick which was hit by Mamon Al Hadhod. Marzoq Al Saleh struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Esam Al Hajraf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birmingham Selly Oak. Ameer Boland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Esam Al Hajraf made a huge save. Esam Al Hajraf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansour Al Fadhalah in the 24th minute of the match. When Mamon Al Hadhod fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Birmingham Selly Oak's protests and gave Mamon Al Hadhod a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Birmingham Selly Oak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mamon Al Hadhod to maneuver through the defense. When Marzoq Al Saleh came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Birmingham Selly Oak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marzoq Al Saleh couldn't finish the play. Esam Al Hajraf was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Mansour Al Fadhalah capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mansour Al Fadhalah really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After having played for 43 minutes, Emad Dehrab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blandford Forum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emad Dehrab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Blandford Forum's Emad Dehrab sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Awwad Al Najdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 49 minutes into the match, Esam Al Ammar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Birmingham Selly Oak's Awwad Al Najdi. Awwad Al Najdi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Mansour Al Fadhalah made the kick off in the second half. Hussain Al Nasser hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Fawzy Al Baghli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Blandford Forum's Esam Al Hajraf didn't even have to move. Blandford Forum's Esam Al Hajraf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ameer Boland in the 62nd minute of play. In the 71st minute Ameer Boland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esam Al Hajraf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hani Hayat hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Blandford Forum's Hussain Al Nasser got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Awwad Al Najdi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emad Dehrab in the 83rd minute of play forced Birmingham Selly Oak's goalkeeper Awwad Al Najdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Mansour Al Fadhalah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esam Al Hajraf. Blandford Forum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mansour Al Fadhalah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Esam Al Hajraf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mamon Al Hadhod in the 90th minute of play. Mansour Al Fadhalah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Esam Al Hajraf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
