Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Basem Shamsah took the kick off in the first half of the match. Basem Shamsah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Westbury-sub-Mendip United's goal looked a bit too open when Basem Shamsah came free, but Aadil Al Hammady reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Basem Shamsah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aadil Al Hammady saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hurworth City's zone, Sameer Al Mulaifi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sanad Al Matrok came out of the goal and Sameer Al Mulaifi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasel Jiragh in the 20th minute of play forced Hurworth City's goalkeeper Sanad Al Matrok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Hurworth City got a freekick which was hit by Aamir Al Hashash. It was beautiful to see Westbury-sub-Mendip United's Qutada Al Mofede in action when he in the 26th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Sameer Al Mulaifi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Sameer Al Mulaifi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westbury-sub-Mendip United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sameer Al Mulaifi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wasel Jiragh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sanad Al Matrok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hurworth City's Sanad Al Matrok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasel Jiragh in the 47th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Ammar Kamal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hurworth City and the Westbury-sub-Mendip United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hurworth City's Ammar Kamal got a free kick in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wasel Jiragh was the one to do the kick off. Sanad Al Matrok showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasel Jiragh in the 53rd minute of the match.
