After a defensive mix-up in Sheerness's zone, Othman Dehrab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ghazi Al Bahar came out of the goal and Othman Dehrab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 played minutes Hurworth City got a freekick which was hit by Ammar Kamal. Qasem Al Azmi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Hurworth City's goal looked a bit too open when Najim Al Sharah came free, but Sanad Al Matrok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sanad Al Matrok came out of the goal and Rashed Al Enzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sanad Al Matrok stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rashed Al Enzi's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ghazi Al Bahar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Othman Dehrab in the 34th minute. In the 40th match minute, Hurworth City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monther Baroun to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, one of Hurworth City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Najim Al Sharah to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Najim Al Sharah in the 57th minute of play forced Hurworth City's goalkeeper Sanad Al Matrok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Ammar Kamal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hurworth City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sheerness the free kick. If Rashed Al Enzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanad Al Matrok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Najim Al Sharah in the 64th minute of play. Ghazi Al Bahar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basem Shamsah, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Basem Shamsah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghazi Al Bahar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sheerness getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Qasem Al Azmi hit a great ball. Jaber Bahroh charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaber Bahroh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaber Bahroh kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Basem Shamsah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hurworth City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 85 minutes into the match, Sheerness's goal looked a bit too open when Othman Dehrab came free, but Ghazi Al Bahar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Basem Shamsah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
