Aqel Al Mofede kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Mosa Al Banai came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Burscough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mosa Al Banai couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Sadeq Al Homaithe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tamem Al Mahmed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ayoob Al Baghli hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Sadeq Al Homaithe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamem Al Mahmed having to interfere. Salem Ashkanani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tamem Al Mahmed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Goldthorpe AFC booed when Burscough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adham Al Fadhalah didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sadeq Al Homaithe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Sadeq Al Homaithe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamem Al Mahmed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sadeq Al Homaithe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
