Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ghasan Al Azmi started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Seraj Al Mulaifi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sharf Bahbhani skillfully saved the ball. When Nizar Al Sohali came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the North Petherton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nizar Al Sohali couldn't finish the play. Ghazi Al Ajmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Adem Al Motaire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sharf Bahbhani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wael Al Ateqi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dawood Al Mehana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sharf Bahbhani. North Petherton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ghasan Al Azmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in North Petherton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sedgley AFC a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mansour Al Kandere, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of North Petherton's Sharf Bahbhani. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ghazi Al Ajmi managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Petherton's supporters rose to their feet, but Ghazi Al Ajmi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adem Al Motaire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ammar Bo Hamad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adem Al Motaire having to interfere. The supporters of North Petherton booed when Sedgley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mubarek Al Ammar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wael Al Ateqi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sharf Bahbhani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wael Al Ateqi, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sharf Bahbhani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ghasan Al Azmi went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ghasan Al Azmi in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sharf Bahbhani prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ghazi Al Ajmi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Ghasan Al Azmi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sedgley AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ghasan Al Azmi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 52 played minutes North Petherton got a freekick which was hit by Ammar Bo Hamad. Wael Al Ateqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wael Al Ateqi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sharf Bahbhani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ghasan Al Azmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wael Al Ateqi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Sharf Bahbhani made a huge save. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sedgley AFC's goalkeeper Adem Al Motaire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Sedgley AFC's Wael Al Ateqi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sharf Bahbhani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ghasan Al Azmi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sharf Bahbhani. That made the score 0-3 in the 77 minute of play. The supporters of Sedgley AFC booed when North Petherton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sami Shams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sharf Bahbhani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghasan Al Azmi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Petherton's goalkeeper Sharf Bahbhani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute Sedgley AFC were awarded a corner. Mansour Al Kandere went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sedgley AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
