Addlestone
Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27,
Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Southsea's Anas Hayat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Khalaf Al Hindi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ammar Baroun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anas Hayat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ammar Baroun having to interfere. Anas Hayat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ammar Baroun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faisal Al Amer in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zahid Al Sharah saved Southsea from getting behind. In the 18thth minute of the game Anas Hayat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Addlestone's Ammar Baroun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anas Hayat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ammar Baroun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalaf Al Hindi in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Southsea's Anas Hayat made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ammar Baroun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zahid Al Sharah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faisal Al Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Faisal Al Amer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zahid Al Sharah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalaf Al Hindi in the 43rd minute of play forced Addlestone's goalkeeper Ammar Baroun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
A collision led to Southsea getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Abdelnaser Al Besher hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Faisal Al Amer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zahid Al Sharah was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. With a little luck, Addlestone's Ammar Baroun got control of the ball when Anas Hayat tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Khalaf Al Hindi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ammar Baroun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Aesem Al Abdullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Addlestone's Faisal Al Amer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zahid Al Sharah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Addlestone booed when Southsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelnaser Al Besher didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anas Hayat in the 75th minute of play forced Addlestone's goalkeeper Ammar Baroun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khalaf Al Hindi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anas Hayat in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ammar Baroun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zahid Al Sharah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gawhar Al Khaled in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, Addlestone's Ammar Baroun got control of the ball when Khalaf Al Hindi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Southsea's goal looked a bit too open when Aesem Al Abdullah came free, but Zahid Al Sharah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Southsea's zone, Aadil Al Wazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zahid Al Sharah came out of the goal and Aadil Al Wazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Southsea players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
