Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rajab Abol kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Lasham got a freekick which was hit by Rajab Abol. Talib Al Motaire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Sadeq Al Shati made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Sameer Al Motar made a precise shot to the right of Ameen Abol. Canterbury's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With his leg Sadeq Al Shati managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Canterbury's Talib Al Motaire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Naji Al Hadad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ameen Al Sarraf's late challenge caught a Canterbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ameen Al Sarraf helped the player get up and apologised. Naji Al Hadad spun around in front of the goal 21 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Lasham's goal. After some careless play in the Canterbury defense, Sameer Al Motar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ameen Abol. The Canterbury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ameen Abol should have stopped the shot. Fadhel Al Khobaize kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lasham's goalkeeper Sadeq Al Shati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Talib Al Motaire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ameen Abol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sameer Al Motar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sameer Al Motar in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ameen Abol saved Canterbury from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Naji Al Hadad made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Talib Al Motaire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canterbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 56th minute, Rajab Abol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ameen Abol. The goal made the score 2-3. 65 minutes into the match, Canterbury's goal looked a bit too open when Rajab Abol came free, but Ameen Abol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naji Al Hadad in the 67th minute of play forced Lasham's goalkeeper Sadeq Al Shati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ameen Al Sarraf kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Jarah Al Bahar's late challenge caught a Lasham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarah Al Bahar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Canterbury getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jarah Al Bahar hit a great ball. Lasham's Sameer Al Motar got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Ammar Al Hindi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lasham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canterbury the free kick. 74 minutes into the match, Canterbury's Talib Al Motaire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sadeq Al Shati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lasham's zone, Talib Al Motaire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sadeq Al Shati came out of the goal and Talib Al Motaire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th match minute, Lasham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadhel Al Khobaize to maneuver through the defense. Lasham's Sadeq Al Shati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talib Al Motaire in the 79th minute of play. Canterbury's Ameen Abol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rajab Abol in the 81st minute of play. Talib Al Motaire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Qasem Al Srae made a precise shot to the right of Sadeq Al Shati. Lasham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Rajab Abol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lasham's supporters rose to their feet, but Rajab Abol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ameen Abol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
