Romford's Ghazi Al Jalahma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Romford from getting a goal against them. When Shabeb Al Bloshi came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Romford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shabeb Al Bloshi couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Meshal Al Sallal was the one to do the kick off. Jassem Al Khames didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shabeb Al Bloshi went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Awwad Al Hashash blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jassem Al Khames having to make a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Romford walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
