An unexpectedly hard shot by Osama Al Sallal in the 3rd minute of play forced Cowplain FC's goalkeeper Anwar Al Barrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osama Al Sallal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Anwar Al Barrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Farooq Al Jarah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osama Al Sallal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Anwar Al Barrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salah Abol hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osama Al Sallal in the 14th minute of play forced Cowplain FC's goalkeeper Anwar Al Barrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Emsworth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazen Al Youha to maneuver through the defense. Anwar Al Barrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osama Al Sallal, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Anwar Al Barrak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osama Al Sallal's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Emsworth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jarah Al Mulaifi came free, but Saleh Shalan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Osama Al Sallal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emsworth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osama Al Sallal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Emsworth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jarah Al Mulaifi came free, but Saleh Shalan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saleh Shalan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarah Al Mulaifi in the 42nd minute of play. If Salah Al Hammady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarah Al Mulaifi made a kick off. Farooq Al Jarah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anwar Al Barrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basem Jiragh during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cowplain FC's Basem Jiragh got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Osama Al Sallal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Salah Al Hammady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emsworth AFC's Saleh Shalan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarah Al Mulaifi in the 67th minute of play. Salah Al Hammady sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Farooq Al Jarah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shaker Al Mothaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Farooq Al Jarah got free with Anwar Al Barrak in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Farooq Al Jarah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
