Salah Al Hammady sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salah Al Hammady in the 5th minute of play forced Walmley United's goalkeeper Hamzah Mandane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Walmley United's zone, Jarah Al Mulaifi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamzah Mandane came out of the goal and Jarah Al Mulaifi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Walmley United's goal looked a bit too open when Salah Al Hammady came free, but Hamzah Mandane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Cowplain FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aws Al Ali to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Walmley United getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Othman Al Srae hit a great ball. Jarah Al Mulaifi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamzah Mandane having to interfere. Anwar Al Barrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fawaz Boften, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Salah Abol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cowplain FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walmley United the free kick. A collision led to Cowplain FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Salah Abol hit a great ball. When Fawaz Boften came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Walmley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fawaz Boften couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cowplain FC's Abdullah Shabakhoh got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salah Al Hammady in the 39th minute of play forced Walmley United's goalkeeper Hamzah Mandane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fawaz Boften had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Fawaz Boften got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anwar Al Barrak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haitham Al Qattan in the 46th minute. When Fawaz Boften came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Walmley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fawaz Boften couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fawaz Boften to make the kick off. Walmley United's Hamzah Mandane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basem Jiragh in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, Walmley United's Fawaz Boften made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anwar Al Barrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haitham Al Qattan struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Anwar Al Barrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walmley United. Walmley United's Fawaz Boften got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Haitham Al Qattan in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cowplain FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Walmley United's Fawaz Boften got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haitham Al Qattan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anwar Al Barrak having to interfere. Yazeed Al Youha charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yazeed Al Youha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Walmley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazeed Al Youha to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Cowplain FC's Hamzah Mandane threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarah Al Mulaifi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Salah Al Hammady struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Hamzah Mandane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cowplain FC. After a rather tough play, Walmley United's Fawaz Boften got a free kick in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cowplain FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Walmley United.
