Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Paull AFC's Bashar Boland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Morjan Al Mulaifi kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jalal Al Ateqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Bashar Boland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malik Al Zamel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Zaher Al Bloshi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moner Al Hashash, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Paull AFC's Zaher Al Bloshi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Paull AFC from getting a goal against them. After 23 played minutes Paull AFC got a freekick which was hit by Morjan Al Mulaifi. Moner Al Hashash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 27 minutes, Khaled Al Habshi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gomersal City and the Paull AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gomersal City's Khaled Al Habshi got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Aqel Al Matrok shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malik Al Zamel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nemir Al Qattamy kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Bashar Boland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasen Al Dosery in the 37th minute of play forced Gomersal City's goalkeeper Malik Al Zamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paull AFC's goalkeeper Zaher Al Bloshi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Paull AFC's zone, Moner Al Hashash stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zaher Al Bloshi came out of the goal and Moner Al Hashash tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Paull AFC's Khaled Bo Resley got a free kick in the 45th minute. Moner Al Hashash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moner Al Hashash stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Moner Al Hashash had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paull AFC were furious when Jassem Al Khaled was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paull AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Gomersal City's Malik Al Zamel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Gomersal City from getting a goal against them. Zaher Al Bloshi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jalal Al Ateqi in the 65th minute of the match. If Yasen Al Dosery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jalal Al Ateqi might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zaher Al Bloshi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jalal Al Ateqi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th match minute, Gomersal City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasel Kakoli to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Paull AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jalal Al Ateqi came free, but Zaher Al Bloshi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moner Al Hashash's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zaher Al Bloshi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Jalal Al Ateqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Zahid Al Wazan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paull AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gomersal City the free kick. The supporters of Gomersal City booed when Paull AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zahid Al Wazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jalal Al Ateqi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Zaher Al Bloshi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jalal Al Ateqi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
