But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monther Al Nasser couldn't finish the play. Monther Al Nasser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghazi Al Najdi having to interfere. Ghazi Al Najdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmad Abo Al Hasan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmad Abo Al Hasan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ghazi Al Najdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Othman Al Qatam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mamon Al Ramzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmad Abo Al Hasan in the 25th minute of play forced Alston's goalkeeper Ghazi Al Najdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Farhan Taiban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Othman Al Qatam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Othman Al Qatam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mamon Al Ramzi in the 41st minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Naji Bo Qamaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Finsbury Park and the Alston players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alston booed when Finsbury Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naji Bo Qamaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmad Abo Al Hasan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ghazi Al Najdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Mazen Al Motaire kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmad Abo Al Hasan to strike the kick off in the second half. Morad Al Qatam thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ghazi Al Najdi, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 1-0. When Yasser Al Arbash fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alston's protests and gave Yasser Al Arbash a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, Alston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yasser Al Arbash to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Finsbury Park's Falah Al Banai broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Monther Al Nasser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ghazi Al Najdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmad Abo Al Hasan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Ahmad Abo Al Hasan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Naji Bo Qamaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ghazi Al Najdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmad Abo Al Hasan in the 91st minute of the match. Mamon Al Ramzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Othman Al Qatam having to interfere.
