The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luai Hayat was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Darweesh Ashkanani. In the 11th minute Zahid Abo Al Hasan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esam Al Besher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Faleh Al Sohali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faleh Al Sohali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luai Hayat having to interfere. Yasen Al Hindi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Esam Al Besher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horndean United's Faleh Al Sohali got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Horndean United's goal looked a bit too open when Aamir Shams came free, but Esam Al Besher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mazen Al Zamel during the 37th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faleh Al Sohali couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Horndean United's goalkeeper Esam Al Besher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yasen Al Hindi. In the 75th minute, Salah Al Bloshi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aamir Shams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Esam Al Besher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yasen Al Hindi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Yasen Al Hindi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tettenhall City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yasen Al Hindi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aamir Shams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes of play, Horndean United's Salah Al Bloshi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luai Hayat was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Horndean United had won after a very even match.
