Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wells United's Yaseen Al Abdullah started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Faleh Al Sohali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, Horndean United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawood Hayat to maneuver through the defense. Yaseen Al Abdullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Faleh Al Sohali came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Horndean United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faleh Al Sohali couldn't finish the play. Yaseen Al Abdullah kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Horndean United's Esam Al Besher got control of the ball when Jalal Shabakhoh tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wells United's Saher Al Kandere got a free kick in the 31st minute. Faleh Al Sohali scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hassan Al Sharaf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horndean United's Faleh Al Sohali got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mosaed Khorshed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esam Al Besher having to interfere. Jalal Shabakhoh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faleh Al Sohali was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Wells United's goal looked a bit too open when Faleh Al Sohali came free, but Hassan Al Sharaf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Salah Al Bloshi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horndean United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salah Al Bloshi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th match minute, Wells United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdul Rahman Al Ali to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Faleh Al Sohali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hassan Al Sharaf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Horndean United's goal looked a bit too open when Jalal Shabakhoh came free, but Esam Al Besher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esam Al Besher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jalal Shabakhoh in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Horndean United's zone, Yaseen Al Abdullah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esam Al Besher came out of the goal and Yaseen Al Abdullah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esam Al Besher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaseen Al Abdullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes of play, Horndean United's Faleh Al Sohali made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hassan Al Sharaf was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the game, Faleh Al Sohali recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hassan Al Sharaf. Faleh Al Sohali showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Jalal Shabakhoh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Horndean United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
