In the 4th minute of the match, Dawood Al Qatam tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rida Al Shati saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manaf Al Abdullah during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hashem Al Ramzi struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Moath Bo Shehri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croughton United. After 28 played minutes Stannington FC got a freekick which was hit by Mansour Al Khars. In the 29th minute of the match Mahmoud Al Ansari sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moath Bo Shehri skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th minute, Mansour Al Khars hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st match minute, Stannington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mansour Al Khars to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes, Croughton United's Mahmoud Al Ansari shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moath Bo Shehri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Croughton United reached it. In the 36th minute, Ebrahem Al Sayer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moath Bo Shehri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Manaf Al Abdullah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stannington FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manaf Al Abdullah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rida Al Shati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dawood Al Qatam was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manaf Al Abdullah got free with Rida Al Shati in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manaf Al Abdullah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Dawood Al Qatam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rida Al Shati having to interfere. Ebrahem Al Sayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Moath Bo Shehri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hashem Al Ramzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moath Bo Shehri having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Croughton United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ebrahem Al Sayer to maneuver through the defense. Stannington FC's Moath Bo Shehri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hashem Al Ramzi in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ebrahem Al Sayer got free with Moath Bo Shehri in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
