Qais Al Qattamy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaban Bo Hamad, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute Ebrahem Al Muwail shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moner Al Shaikh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hornsea United getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Farooq Al Dosery hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Barakat Al Dabos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Shaban Bo Hamad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ebrahem Al Muwail in the 20th minute of play forced Baston's goalkeeper Moner Al Shaikh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aadil Al Ajmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baston's Shaban Bo Hamad got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ebrahem Al Muwail sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 49th minute, Barakat Al Dabos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waleed Boften stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aadil Al Ajmi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ebrahem Al Muwail hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Meqdad Al Towatan kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Mosalam Al Hadad, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 75th minute, Kamal Al Hammady hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waleed Boften received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Qais Al Qattamy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Hornsea United getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ebrahem Al Muwail hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Baston's Sultan Al Holey tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Shaban Bo Hamad came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Baston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaban Bo Hamad couldn't finish the play. Aadil Al Ajmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Aadil Al Ajmi made a precise shot to the right of Moner Al Shaikh. Baston's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
