Jaffer Al Barrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hashem Al Qattan having to interfere. Ammar Al Ghanem made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Meshal Al Ajmi sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Adem Al Sarraf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meshal Al Ajmi in the 24th minute of play forced Horfield United's goalkeeper Ammar Al Ghanem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Falah Al Motar came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Southall AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falah Al Motar couldn't finish the play. Meshal Al Ajmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falah Al Motar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ammar Al Ghanem having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waheed Al Youha in the 40th minute of play forced Southall AFC's goalkeeper Hashem Al Qattan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adem Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaffer Al Barrak might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hashem Al Qattan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaffer Al Barrak ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waheed Al Youha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Horfield United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adem Al Sarraf to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Meshal Al Ajmi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southall AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 60th minute, Falah Al Motar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ammar Al Ghanem was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 69 played minutes Horfield United got a freekick which was hit by Najim Boland. Jaffer Al Barrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Horfield United getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Adem Al Sarraf hit a great ball. Meshal Al Ajmi's late challenge caught a Horfield United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Meshal Al Ajmi helped the player get up and apologised. Meshal Al Ajmi hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Southall AFC's zone, Waheed Al Youha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hashem Al Qattan came out of the goal and Waheed Al Youha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ammar Al Ghanem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meshal Al Ajmi in the 90th minute of play. Hakem Al Asuosi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Hashem Al Qattan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
