Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Waheed Al Youha got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Farhan Al Sallal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hickling City's supporters rose to their feet, but Farhan Al Sallal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ammar Al Ghanem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Farhan Al Sallal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Hickling City's Bashar Al Homaithe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ammar Al Ghanem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abdulatif Al Ali came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Horfield United's Adem Al Sarraf. But to his dismay, Adem Al Sarraf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bashar Al Homaithe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ammar Al Ghanem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Farhan Al Sallal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Horfield United's Ammar Al Ghanem. Ammar Al Ghanem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Ammar Al Ghanem managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Hickling City's Bashar Al Homaithe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bashar Al Homaithe managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hickling City's goalkeeper Abdulatif Al Ali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hickling City's Abdulatif Al Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaffer Al Barrak in the 34th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Horfield United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adem Al Sarraf to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Farhan Al Sallal made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Horfield United got a freekick which was hit by Khalefa Al Adsani. After 53 played minutes, Hickling City's Sror Al Herz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ammar Al Ghanem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hickling City reached it. After 55 played minutes Horfield United got a freekick which was hit by Wael Jiragh. In the 57th minute of the match Sror Al Herz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ammar Al Ghanem showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Farhan Al Sallal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ammar Al Ghanem having to interfere. Abdulatif Al Ali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaffer Al Barrak went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hickling City's goalkeeper Abdulatif Al Ali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ammar Al Ghanem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farhan Al Sallal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Horfield United's goal looked a bit too open when Bashar Al Homaithe came free, but Ammar Al Ghanem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Waheed Al Youha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Khalefa Al Adsani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ammar Al Ghanem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farhan Al Sallal, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Hickling City's Bashar Al Homaithe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ammar Al Ghanem in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Farhan Al Sallal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Gibrel Al Rodhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horfield United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hickling City the free kick. After having played for 87 minutes, Bashar Al Homaithe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hickling City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bashar Al Homaithe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Horfield United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
