Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Farooq Al Matrok made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Bandar Al Jalahma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romsey's supporters rose to their feet, but Bandar Al Jalahma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belal Al Arbash breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Qutada Al Sarraf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eshaq Al Khobaize having to interfere. Farooq Al Matrok struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Eshaq Al Khobaize didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eastbourne. Farooq Al Matrok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eshaq Al Khobaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belal Al Arbash breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Bandar Al Jalahma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Belal Al Arbash. Bandar Al Jalahma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Eastbourne's Qutada Al Sarraf got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eshaq Al Khobaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farooq Al Matrok in the 31st minute of play. Belal Al Arbash showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bandar Al Jalahma in the 34th minute of the match. Farooq Al Matrok recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bandar Al Jalahma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eshaq Al Khobaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farooq Al Matrok in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Bandar Al Jalahma made the kick off in the second half. Farooq Al Matrok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eshaq Al Khobaize having to interfere. Qutada Al Sarraf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eshaq Al Khobaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Romsey's Darweesh Al Qatam got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 63rd minute, Dawood Taiban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Bandar Al Jalahma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belal Al Arbash saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Qutada Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bandar Al Jalahma in the 75th minute of play forced Eastbourne's goalkeeper Belal Al Arbash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romsey's Bandar Al Jalahma got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eastbourne's Belal Al Arbash played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bandar Al Jalahma in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Eastbourne's goal looked a bit too open when Shehab Dehrab came free, but Belal Al Arbash reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bandar Al Jalahma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Belal Al Arbash read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Qutada Al Sarraf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eshaq Al Khobaize having to interfere.
