After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mazen Shabakhoh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ash's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazen Shabakhoh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ammar Al Attar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ash's Mortada Shrean got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mortada Shrean came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ash fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mortada Shrean couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, Nuneaton FC's Mansour Al Youha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Farooq Al Homaithe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Nuneaton FC booed when Ash was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaseen Taiban didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ash players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nuneaton FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mortada Shrean was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ash's goal looked a bit too open when Mansour Al Youha came free, but Farooq Al Homaithe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Mansour Al Youha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farooq Al Homaithe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ammar Al Attar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazen Shabakhoh, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mortada Shrean in the 62nd minute of play forced Nuneaton FC's goalkeeper Ammar Al Attar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Nuneaton FC defense, Mortada Shrean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ammar Al Attar. The Nuneaton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ammar Al Attar should have stopped the shot. The Nuneaton FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ash from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
