Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Younis Mandane started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Qutaiba Al Khaled mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Weaverham United and the Petersfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Qutaiba Al Khaled hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Bader Abol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Younis Mandane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gibrel Al Ajmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Younis Mandane, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Petersfield got a freekick which was hit by Khalel Al Habshi. Fayez Al Motar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fared Al Hammady in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes of play, Weaverham United's Abdul Aziz Al Mothaf made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fayez Al Motar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, Abdul Aziz Al Mothaf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fayez Al Motar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Petersfield's Gibrel Al Ajmi threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Younis Mandane, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Anwar Al Khaled had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fared Al Hammady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fayez Al Motar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Petersfield's Esmael Al Banai got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdul Aziz Al Mothaf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abdulatif Al Ajmi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Weaverham United's Qutaiba Al Khaled couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Petersfield. Younis Mandane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gibrel Al Ajmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play, Petersfield's Bader Abol made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gibrel Al Ajmi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gibrel Al Ajmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bader Abol in the 64th minute of play. Fared Al Hammady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fayez Al Motar having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Abdul Aziz Al Mothaf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fayez Al Motar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Weaverham United's zone, Younis Mandane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gibrel Al Ajmi came out of the goal and Younis Mandane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gibrel Al Ajmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Younis Mandane in the 87th minute of play. Anwar Al Khaled scored 1-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fayez Al Motar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Weaverham United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
