Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faraj Abol kicked off to start the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Hani Al Srae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salcombe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hani Al Srae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faraj Abol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jawad Al Hajri having to interfere. Sadeq Dashti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Faraj Abol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faraj Abol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jawad Al Hajri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faraj Abol spun around in front of the goal 39 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Salcombe's goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Anas Al Sarraf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salcombe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anas Al Sarraf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Anas Al Sarraf came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Salcombe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anas Al Sarraf couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anas Al Sarraf to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Anas Al Sarraf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firas Bo Qamaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Firas Bo Qamaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anas Al Sarraf in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Holton-le-Clay's Qasem Ghadhanfer got a free kick in the 55th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Salcombe's goalkeeper Jawad Al Hajri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sadeq Dashti. Jawad Al Hajri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faraj Abol in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Salcombe booed when Holton-le-Clay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahad Baroun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salam Al Matrok, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Faraj Abol might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jawad Al Hajri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faraj Abol ran back to his position shaking his head. Sadeq Dashti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jawad Al Hajri having to interfere. Faraj Abol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jawad Al Hajri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faraj Abol in the 75th minute of the match. Salim Al Abdullah's late challenge caught a Holton-le-Clay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salim Al Abdullah helped the player get up and apologised. Salim Al Abdullah hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salcombe's goalkeeper Jawad Al Hajri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jawad Al Hajri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faraj Abol, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Sadeq Dashti came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jawad Al Hajri could save by the left post. In the 96th minute, Sadeq Dashti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
