Jassem Al Attar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Combe Martian's goal looked a bit too open when Ghasan Al Attar came free, but Ghasan Bahroh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lowton City booed when Combe Martian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shabeb Al Ammar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghasan Al Attar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hakem Al Nasser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jassem Al Attar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Combe Martian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ghasan Bahroh should have stopped the shot. Fahhad Shalan's late challenge caught a Lowton City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fahhad Shalan helped the player get up and apologised. Hakem Al Nasser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jassem Al Attar came out of the goal and Manaf Al Sayer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Combe Martian's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
