Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sadeq Al Fadhalah got the match started through his kick off. Fared Al Ateqi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qutaiba Abol in the 5th minute of the match. Qutada Al Balool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gravesend's Fared Al Ateqi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qutada Al Balool in the 13th minute of play. Awwad Al Dowaisan hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Fared Al Ateqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qutada Al Balool, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Latchingdon City booed when Gravesend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esam Al Dabos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Qutada Al Balool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Meqdad Al Homaithe managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Gravesend's Baqer Bahbhani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 22 minutes into the game, Gravesend's Sadeq Al Fadhalah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Meqdad Al Homaithe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Meqdad Al Homaithe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baqer Bahbhani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Latchingdon City's Meqdad Al Homaithe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Latchingdon City from getting a goal against them. When Sadeq Al Fadhalah came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Gravesend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadeq Al Fadhalah couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Mahdi Al Homaithe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gravesend booed when Latchingdon City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahdi Al Homaithe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gravesend's Ali Al Towatan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Latchingdon City. Fared Al Ateqi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qutada Al Balool in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Qutaiba Abol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Latchingdon City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gravesend the free kick. Qutaiba Abol hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Ali Al Towatan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Latchingdon City's Meqdad Al Homaithe did a great save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
53 minutes into the match, Gravesend's goal looked a bit too open when Qutada Al Balool came free, but Fared Al Ateqi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Latchingdon City's Mahdi Al Homaithe got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Sadeq Al Fadhalah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gravesend fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Baqer Bahbhani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Meqdad Al Homaithe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Shaheen Jiragh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fared Al Ateqi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Qutada Al Balool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Baqer Bahbhani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meqdad Al Homaithe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shaheen Jiragh got free with Fared Al Ateqi in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meqdad Al Homaithe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baqer Bahbhani, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Sadeq Al Fadhalah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Mahdi Al Homaithe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sadeq Al Fadhalah struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Meqdad Al Homaithe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gravesend. When Qutaiba Abol was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Latchingdon City's Qutaiba Abol got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Shaheen Jiragh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fared Al Ateqi having to interfere. Gravesend's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
