In the 3rd minute Saleh Al Bana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meqdad Al Homaithe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meqdad Al Homaithe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faris Al Banai's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Qutada Al Balool fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahhad Al Muwail having to interfere. Meqdad Al Homaithe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raed Bo Qamaz in the 15th minute of the match. If Saleh Al Bana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mahdi Al Homaithe hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Saleh Al Bana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faris Al Banai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Meqdad Al Homaithe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Saleh Al Bana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Meqdad Al Homaithe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 32 played minutes Latchingdon City got a freekick which was hit by Fadhel Al Dabos. If Faris Al Banai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Latchingdon City's zone, Saleh Al Bana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meqdad Al Homaithe came out of the goal and Saleh Al Bana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Qutada Al Balool might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fahhad Al Muwail. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qutada Al Balool ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qutada Al Balool stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Qutaiba Abol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Latchingdon City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ramsgate the free kick. Qutaiba Abol hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Saleh Al Bana struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Meqdad Al Homaithe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramsgate. The supporters of Latchingdon City booed when Ramsgate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mosalam Al Dabos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Qutada Al Balool sped through Ramsgate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fahhad Al Muwail. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Meqdad Al Homaithe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaheen Jiragh in the 94th minute of play forced Ramsgate's goalkeeper Fahhad Al Muwail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ramsgate players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
