Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eyad Al Qattamy kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Shaheen Bahroh notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Blackburn's Sulaiman Al Dosery. Sulaiman Al Dosery was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 11 minutes, Sultan Al Bana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackburn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sultan Al Bana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Croydon United's Shaheen Bahroh got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Croydon United booed when Blackburn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rida Al Saleh didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Croydon United's Jalal Dashti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Croydon United's Mansour Al Rifaee got a free kick in the 21st minute. Eyad Al Qattamy hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to Croydon United getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mosab Al Ammar hit a great ball. Sultan Al Bana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Mahdi Al Mehana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Falah Jiragh suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Firas Al Khars fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blackburn's protests and gave Firas Al Khars a yellow card for diving instead. Firas Al Khars kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Mansour Al Rifaee's late challenge caught a Blackburn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mansour Al Rifaee helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Croydon United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mansour Al Rifaee to maneuver through the defense. If Eyad Al Qattamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mahdi Al Mehana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eyad Al Qattamy, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Croydon United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mansour Al Rifaee hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Croydon United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
