Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Great Staughton's Bandar Al Holey got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Majed Khorshed shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yaqoub Al Hadad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yaqoub Al Hadad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esmael Al Srae in the 24th minute of play. Rajab Al Hadad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Great Staughton's goalkeeper Abdul Aziz Al Motaire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Esmael Al Srae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Staughton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esmael Al Srae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Rajab Al Hadad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yaqoub Al Hadad. Worksop FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rajab Al Hadad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Othman Al Rifaee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esmael Al Srae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaqoub Al Hadad having to interfere. If Rajab Al Hadad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Worksop FC's zone, Esmael Al Srae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaqoub Al Hadad came out of the goal and Esmael Al Srae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sarhan Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sajid Al Mosawe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Great Staughton's Esmael Al Srae got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yaqoub Al Hadad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esmael Al Srae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sarhan Al Sarraf came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abdul Aziz Al Motaire could save by the left post. Sarhan Al Sarraf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Abdul Aziz Al Motaire made a huge save. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Worksop FC's goalkeeper Yaqoub Al Hadad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Worksop FC got a freekick which was hit by Sajid Al Mosawe. Great Staughton's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
